Re: Deactive result recording

I have seen clients use this for inspection results copy.  You set up some MIC's to be copied forward from an 03 inspection lot to the 04 inspection lot.  You want to make sue that all the necessary results for a COA are present and will be copied to the batch record. If a MIC fails to copy forward, it will be clearly evident in the UD screen.  If you have the MIC's separated by operations, with assigned workcenters and the correct security you can control who can update or "fix" the missing results.

You may also want this copy forward of inspection results if you report all COA results from the inspection lot instead of the batch record.  You need the results in the lot, but you don't want your final inspection techs to have access to the results done by production operators during production for instance.
