I created alerts in Crystal reports 2011 and CRe and saved them to BI platform, scheduled both reports and am able to view the alerts in the history of both reports. So far good, but I don't see 'Subscribe' option in right context menu.
-> I am using Admin account and have full control also (Subscribe to Alerts and view this Object in the CMC) granted
-> CMC/ Applications/Manage/ Alerting Application/ Manage Properties - checked 'Enable My Alerts' & 'Enable Email'
-> BI 4.0 SP7 Patch2
-> CR2011 & CRe 4.0 SP7P2
SAP DOC shows 'subscribe' option, but not for us, am I missing something??

My BI Launchpad shows like below (No 'Subscribe' & No special Alert icon in the left side either) :
